Job summary
A leading law firm in Colchester is offering a Property Apprenticeship aimed at developing the next generation of Property Lawyers. In this role, you will support the team with a mix of administrative and legal tasks while studying with a provider one day per week. The apprenticeship will provide practical experience that will culminate in achieving a Licensed Conveyancer status. Ideal candidates will have A-levels and GCSEs in English and Maths, as well as a positive and willing attitude towards learning.
Qualifications

- Five GCSEs at Level 4 (c) or above including English and Maths.

Responsibilities
- Supporting the team with a mix of administrative and legal work.

Office hours are 9:00‑17:00 Monday to Friday, with flexible working options available to work 8:00‑16:00, 9:00‑17:00 or 10:00‑18:00. This constitutes a 37.5‑hour working week. The position is in our Colchester office.
The Property Apprenticeship will provide you with the knowledge, skills, qualifications and understanding required to be a Property Lawyer. You will work from our London office supporting the team with a mix of administrative and legal work and will have the equivalent to one day per week studying with our chosen provider.
Over the course of the apprenticeship you will obtain a CLC. At the end of the apprenticeship you will become a Licensed Conveyancer, with at least 4 years of practical experience. You will gain experience in managing a Conveyancing caseload with support from your Line Manager and Training Manager. This will include reviewing property title documents, mortgages and much more.
