Ideal candidates should hold an ACA/CIMA qualification and have experience with SAGE software, along with strong communication and time management skills. This position offers flexibility in working arrangements and generous benefits.
As more and more advanced technology is used in the Automotive/ Transportation sector, we present exciting opportunities to join a growing company at a pivotal time in our industry. We are a successful Cambridge (UK) based technology spin-out; and we are leading the way in finding creative, innovative, and above all, effective ways to make time spent in-vehicle more entertaining and productive. Our connectivity and telematics software and hardware products are deployed in over 35 million vehicles and counting, across 15 of the world’s largest automotive OEMs, including VW Group, Toyota, Honda, Stellantis and many more. We supply our software across the automotive ecosystem to equipment suppliers such as Bosch, Panasonic, Clarion, Pioneer, and device vendors such as Sony and HTC. Multiple emergency services and logistics customers are adopting our latest award-winning Cobalt Cube hardware product across the globe.
Reporting to the CEO this role offers an exciting opportunity for a top-quality, hands-on Accountant to work for a globally recognised company, acknowledged as a leader in its field. You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality finance support and financial information to key stakeholders. To achieve this, your responsibilities will include ensuring all ledger postings are accurate, preparing management accounts including accruals and prepayments, and assisting with the annual audit preparation. You’ll play a key role in processing complex multi-currency reconciliations of key debtors and balance sheets.
In addition, you’ll also be responsible for purchase and sales ledgers including credit control, reconciliation and input of banks, credit cards, petty cash, daily banking and managing payroll with our external provider. In addition to the operational and other adhoc finance responsibilities this role offers excellent scope for personal growth and professional development. Being a start-up, this role is varied and allows the successful candidate room for expansion within their role, and rapid progression.
We are offering a unique opportunity to join our team, working for a successful, growing company with a recognised global brand and great potential and vision. If you are successful, you will be compensated with an attractive package which will be appropriate to your skills and experience. We also offer generous benefits, including a contributory pension, and private dental and medical care.
