MCC Youth Worker (Part Time)
Job summary
A community-focused church organization in Manchester is seeking a passionate Youth Worker to engage with young people and support their involvement in church life. The role includes leading youth breakfasts, planning summer camp activities, and collaborating with local high schools for mission work. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people while becoming part of a supportive church community.
Qualifications
- Must be a member of or willing to commit to Message Community Church.
- Experience working with young people in community or church settings.
- Ability to develop connections with high schools.
Responsibilities
- Lead Sunday morning youth breakfasts.
- Plan youth activities at the annual summer camp.
- Develop connections with high schools for outreach missions.
We're seeking a passionate and committed Youth Worker to join Message Community Church. The successful candidate will serve as a key role model for young people, encouraging discipleship and supporting their engagement in the wider life of the church. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people while being part of a vibrant and supportive church community.
To be eligible for this roleyou must be a member ofor willing to commit toMessage Community Church.
In this roleyou will lead Sunday morning youth breakfasts and play a central role in our Wednesday youth evenings. You will work closely with The Message Trust team to support key missions throughout the year, plan youth activities at our annual summer camp, take part in our Advance the Scattering event and organise opportunities for young people to attend united youth gatherings across Manchester. A significant part of the role will also involve developing strong connections with high schools in Wythenshaweparticularly to support our Easter mission week.
