Job summary
An NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Specialist Clinical Physiologist to undertake a range of neurophysiological investigations. This full-time position offers a contract lasting up to 12 months for maternity cover at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. Ideal candidates will be qualified in Neurophysiology with experience in clinical settings and possess strong communication and analytical skills. Qualifications
- Qualified Clinical Physiologist in Neurophysiology.
- Must be or in process of obtaining AHCS or HCPC registration.
- Experience with children in a clinical setting is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Conduct neurophysiological investigations including EEG and evoked potentials.
- Provide patient care in the neurophysiological unit and other settings.
- Assist with paediatric Video Telemetry.
Skills
Ability to perform basic Neurophysiological investigations
Practical experience in Neurophysiology
Supervisory experience
Ability to communicate complex information
Coaching skills
Education
BTEC HNC/D in MPPM/BSc Hons Clinical Physiology
AHCS Registration
Master's degree or equivalent
