A leading engineering firm is seeking a Waste Environmental Consultant to join their Waste Management team in St Helens. This hybrid role involves supporting landfill design projects, conducting site monitoring, and ensuring compliance with UK waste regulations. - Minimum 2-3 years' experience in waste management, landfill design, CQA, or environmental consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of UK waste legislation, landfill design principles, and environmental compliance.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in landfill engineering design, including lining systems and drainage.
- Conduct on-site CQA monitoring and reporting for landfill construction.
- Prepare engineering logs and validation reports.
