Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Sound working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or field-based populations (retail, hospitality, logistics, or similar).
  • Confident using HR systems and people data to drive insight-led decisions.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior retail leaders to deliver the people and engagement strategy.
  • Coach, influence, and challenge leaders on performance management, capability, and culture.
  • Identify talent at all levels and develop robust succession and development plans.
  • Use people data and insight to influence decisions across retention, absence, and engagement.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex HR case management.
  • Collaborate with central HR specialists across reward, learning & development.
  • Support and embed organisational change initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement through internal feedback tools.
