Job summary
A leading garden product company in Faversham is seeking a Driver's Mate to assist with deliveries. This role involves loading, unloading, and ensuring a smooth delivery process alongside the driver. Candidates should possess a UK driving license with a clean record and some experience in delivery driving or related duties. The position offers a 40-hour work week and competitive salary, along with additional benefits such as 29 days of holiday including bank holidays.

This job is based out of our Faversham Branch – ME13 9HY and supports the driver with deliveries by assisting with loading, unloading, navigation, and ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery service.
- Helping the driver to safely secure the load onto the vehicle
- Assisting the driver with deliveries, as per the driver’s requests and aiding with navigation
- Complying with health and safety rules and regulations
- Keeping your vehicle clean
- Unloading the goods to customers with assistance of the driver
- Represent Dunster House to a superb standard, as an ambassador of the company
- UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Experience with delivery driving or driver’s mate’s duties
- Driving and navigation ability
- Manual handling experience
- Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week averaged over 52 weeks per year.
- £25,397 per annum
- 29 days holiday including bank holidays
