An environmental organization is hiring for a part-time Finance Officer to support the Finance Department in handling essential financial processing. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial activities and providing necessary financial advice. This role is based in Birmingham, offering a salary of £14,736 per annum for 22.5 hours per week, with occasional regional travel for meetings.
Salary: £14,736 per annum (22.5 hours/week, pro‑rated of £24,570 FTE) – negotiable depending on experience. Contract type: Permanent. Working hours: Part time.
Location: Centre of the Earth, 42 Norman Street, Birmingham, B18 7EP. Occasional travel across the region and nationally, with some work at the EcoPark site in Small Heath.

About the role: The Finance Officer will work within the Finance Department to provide essential day‑to‑day financial processing, support and advice. The post‑holder will be a key member of the team in keeping accurate and up‑to‑date records of the organisation’s financial activities on both the accounting system and associated files.
