Job summary

An inclusive community organization in London is seeking a Finance Officer for a 12-month maternity cover. This full-time role involves recording transactions, preparing payments, and supporting month-end reporting, requiring A-level education or equivalent in accounting. Job Type

Full‑time, Fixed Term (12 months) – 35 hrs per week, Hybrid/remote with at least 2 days in our Central London office.

The Role
  • Record transactions in our accounting software (Iplicit) and keep financial records accurate and up to date
  • Prepare payments and liaise with banks and payment platforms
  • Support month‑end reporting, reconciliations and management accounts
  • Assist with annual audit preparation
  • Work closely with colleagues across Peace Direct to ensure grants and programmes are well supported
About You
  • Educated to A‑level and/or working towards a relevant accounting qualification

  • Able to meet deadlines and keep finance systems up to date
  • Can hit the ground running, bring prior experience to the table and thrive with minimal supervision
