Job Description

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our friendly and collaborative Finance Team. Based in our office on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula, this 4-month fixed term role plays a key part in ensuring BallyCara’s financial operations run smoothly and accurately.

You will contribute to efficient service delivery by processing supplier invoices, managing payment runs, resolving queries, and supporting key financial functions across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently (minimum 12 per hour)
  • Responding to internal and external accounts queries within required timeframes
  • Managing payment scheduling and performing payment runs
  • Maintaining supplier data and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
  • Assisting with accounts receivable and monthly credit card reconciliations
  • Supporting reporting requirements and contributing to process improvement initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with the Finance Team and wider organisation
  • Participating in business improvement and ad-hoc finance projects

  • Experience in the not-for-profit, aged care, disability, or wellness sectors
  • An understanding of services for older people
