A leading engineering firm in Northern Ireland seeks a Production Coordinator to support manufacturing activities and ensure efficient resource allocation. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to maintain high standards of quality and safety, manage logistics, and drive operational improvements. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in logistics or procurement, a technical certificate/diploma, and strong skills in teamwork and communication. * Production CoordinatorSupport manufacturing activities and continuous improvement within Cranfield in line with business targets and objectives.• Management and allocation of physical workshop resources (i.e. PPE, consumables, tools and equipment). • Liaise with Production Manager ensuring manufacturing support activities align with business needs and objectives. • Liaise with Procurement, Finance, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of workshop required equipment and materials in accordance with agreed schedule and business need. • Work closely with Framatome on-site teams co-ordinating any deliveries which impact the off-site workshop. • Collaborate with Production Manager, Supervisors, Quality Inspectors, Quality Engineers to ensure delivered material and equipment flows through goods-in process efficiently. • Attend and provide input to daily manufacturing plannign meeting, attended by all relevant stakeholders. • Provide input with internal NCRs and Observations when required. • Provide assistance in the development of operational process improvements and procedures. • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards of quality and safety. • Support external audit requirements when required.• Maintain accurate records of calibration and maintenance of all workshop tools and equipment. • Maintain accurate records of all training requirements for workshop floor staff, including organising of new training. • Obtain quotations from suppliers/sub-contractors and raise Purchase Requisitions accordingly. • Ensure goods receipt is completed through SAP in a timely manner. • Coordination of goods-out logistics for all workshop product/equipment. • Filing and organization of necessary physical workshop documentation (e.g. MRRs). • Ensure workshop waste is managed appropriately and efficiently. • Regular progress reporting to Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager on upcoming calibration and/or maintenance requirements for all workshop tools and equipment.• 3+ years proven relevant experience within logistics, finance or procurement. • Previous experience with coordination between departments or different areas within a business. • Experience in working to specifications and procedures. • High level of competence in MS Office products, specifically Excel. • Previous experience in a highly regulated industry advantageous. • Previous procurement / purchasing experience advantageous. • Questioning attitude. • Good team working skills. • Highly organised with good attention to detail. • Good communication and interpersonal skills including influencing and presenting. • Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative with a can-do attitude. • Ability to take responsibility for problems within their own remit and to deliver solutions. • Results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines. • Logical thinking.**Specialization:** Z2 - Administration**Level of education (all)** Technical Certificate / Diploma**Place:** United Kingdom, Cranfield, Cranfield**Employment level:** Non cadre**Position under administrative investigation:** Yes## About the location
