A leading telecommunications provider in the UK is seeking a Telecommunications Installation Engineer in Cardiff. Qualifications
- Experience with telecommunications installation.
- Ability to install and maintain various telecom equipment.
- Willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call rota.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission telecom equipment including CCTV and structured cabling.
- Maintain systems and complete test documentation.
- Participate in on-call rota for emergency service.

Gee Communications is looking to expand our fast‑growing M&E and Telecommunications division. We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and dynamic Telecommunications Installation Engineer.
As a Telecommunications Installation Engineer you will be responsible for installing and commissioning a wide range of telecom equipment, including CCTV, CIS, PA, fibre, and structured cabling. You will also install cable management systems, maintain the systems, complete test and commissioning documentation, and participate in a 24‑hour on‑call rota.
- Experience working in a rail or commercial environment
- Network Infrastructure Installer ECS Card (desirable but not essential)
- PTS (desirable but not essential)
- IPAF and PASMA (desirable but not essential)
- Drive and enthusiasm to learn on the job and deliver projects efficiently
- Full UK driving licence (vehicle provided)
Gee Communications Ltd offers a one‑stop shop for design, installation, maintenance and technical support. We provide 24/7/52‑week emergency call‑out service covering 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support and we deliver on‑rail and off‑rail engineering works across Wales and the rest of the UK.
