Safeguarding Team Member
Job summary
A community health organization in Cambridge is seeking volunteers for the Safeguarding team. This role involves ensuring the safe delivery of services to children and adults at risk of harm. Key responsibilities include monitoring the implementation of safeguarding policies and providing guidance. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. This is a critical volunteer position to help make a difference in the community, and training will be provided.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to monitor and implement safeguarding policies.
- Experience in responding to safeguarding questions.
Responsibilities
- Join the Safeguarding team to ensure safe service delivery.
- Monitor implementation of safeguarding policies.
- Provide guidance related to safeguarding matters.

We are looking for people with excellent interpersonal skills to join our Safeguarding team. Safeguarding is central to the work of St John Ambulance because it ensures that the diverse range of services we provide to children and adults at risk of harm are delivered safely. Safeguarding Team Members do this in a number of ways, e.g., by monitoring the implementation of the safeguarding policy, by responding to questions regarding and giving guidance, and more.
