Job summary
A healthcare organization in Doncaster is seeking a Sister/Charge Nurse for its Emergency Department. This permanent position will involve coordinating nursing activities, supporting the Lead Nurse, and promoting evidence-based practices in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have a nursing degree, current NMC registration, and strong leadership skills. The salary ranges from £38,682 to £46,580 per annum, with opportunities for full-time and part-time hours.

- Relevant post registration experience at Band 5 or above.
- Broad knowledge of Emergency Care.
- Experience in Walk‑in Centre / Urgent Care Centre.
- Up to date knowledge of DOH and NICE guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities in the department ensuring effective communication.
- Support the Lead Nurse in managing a team of nurses.
- Act as a role model promoting quality evidence-based practice.
- Undertake Emergency Nurse Practitioner role if trained.
