Job summary

A healthcare organization in Doncaster is seeking a Sister/Charge Nurse for its Emergency Department. Qualifications

  • Relevant post registration experience at Band 5 or above.
  • Broad knowledge of Emergency Care.
  • Experience in Walk‑in Centre / Urgent Care Centre.
  • Up to date knowledge of DOH and NICE guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities in the department ensuring effective communication.
  • Support the Lead Nurse in managing a team of nurses.
  • Act as a role model promoting quality evidence-based practice.
  • Undertake Emergency Nurse Practitioner role if trained.
