Job summary

An NHS Trust in Tees Valley is seeking a part-time Team Administrator for a fixed-term position of 12 months. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative support within the apprenticeship and future talent team. A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required. Ideal candidates should possess customer service experience and strong skills in diary management and Microsoft applications. Team Administrator

The closing date is 28 December 2025

We are looking to employ a part time (22.5) - 12 months fixed term hardworking, conscientious individual who will work as an Administrator within the apprenticeship and future talent team.

You will be responsible for providing a high quality, flexible, administrative support.

Applicants are required to hold a level 3 qualification in a relevant field or have equivalent experience.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role

Main duties of the job

The role includes supporting the apprenticeship team with administrative support including reports; diary management, understanding and application of Microsoft applications and knowledge of IT applications.

Qualifications
  • Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role.
  • Level 3 Qualification in Leadership and Management.
  • RSA Level 2 or equivalent Secretarial/administrative experience in a clinical environment
Experience
  • Experience of working in an administrative environment (diary management, filing systems, meeting coordination, minute talking, data input, collating and presenting information)
  • Customer Service experience (face to face, answering calls, correspondence)
  • Experience of organising completing demands and workloads
  • Experience of setting up and maintenance of administrative systems and processes
  • Experience of working autonomously and proactively
  • Experience of supporting/supervising staff
  • Experience of handling monies and working within financial guidelines
Knowledge
  • Understanding of data protection and the need for confidentiality and how to maintain this
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of office systems and processes
  • Knowledge of NHS systems
