A leading advocacy service in Doncaster is looking for a Children’s Independent Sexual Violence Advocate to provide support to children and young people affected by sexual abuse. You'll deliver proactive advocacy services and work flexibly within a team to engage with the criminal justice system. The role requires a full driving license and access to your vehicle. Competitive salary between £29,869 and £30,811, with fixed-term contract until March 2027.
£29,869 per annum, increasing to £30,811 upon successful completion of ISVA accreditation

Fixed term to March 2027, initially with the possibility of renewal, subject to funding

Due to the nature of the work, this position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and Police Vetting.
The successful applicants will deliver a proactive, high-quality advocacy and support service to people who, having experienced sexual harm, may be accessing the criminal justice system.
You will be joining an existing team and will provide high quality support and advocacy to children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse or harm, and to their families, using a trauma informed approach.
We are proud that our services meet the national ISVA quality standards and will require the successful applicant to complete the ISVA development programme at the first available opportunity, if they haven’t already done so.
The role will be closely linked to other services, both internal and external, and you will work flexibly and collaboratively to enable children to access the appropriate services at the right time.
Your work will be overseen by the ISVA Lead, who will also provide you with regular casework supervision and line management. In addition, you will participate fully in regular clinical supervision to support your personal wellbeing and address any issues of vicarious trauma.
You must hold a full driving licence and must have access to your own vehicle to be considered for this role.
