Job summary

A leading materials company in Stone, England is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to lead innovative training programmes. In this role, you will collaborate with expert teams to create stimulating learning materials, coordinate training sessions, and engage with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, along with a passion for education. This is a fixed-term contract for approximately 6-9 months.

  • Strong knowledge or background in materials science or ceramics preferred.

About Us

The AMRICC Centre is the UK’s only advanced ceramics pilot-scale facility, accelerating materials development and production to bring innovative products to market faster. Hosted by Lucideon on behalf of the MICG consortium, we work closely with industry and academia to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Training Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of innovative training programmes. You’ll work with our expert scientific team to create stimulating learning materials to enhance the learning experience, increase the impact and expand the reach to neuro-divergent individuals, manage training sessions, and ensure our Academy remains at the forefront of industry education. This role is for approximately 6-9 months fixed‑term contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Deliver Training: Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging, interactive training content.
  • Coordinate Sessions: Manage logistics for training events, including materials, room setup, and hospitality.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and update training materials and website content to ensure accuracy and impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with external partners, respond to queries, and promote the Academy to potential customers.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and strategies.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the Education & Skills workstream, track revenue, and manage payments.
About You
  • Excellent and proven administrative experience and/or qualifications
  • Qualification in training / learning & development an advantage
  • Passionate about education and innovation, with the ability to introduce fresh ideas.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of materials science or ceramics is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working with immersive technologies and multiple stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, approachable and patient with strong problem‑solving skills and an eye for detail
