- Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching practical cooking skills, nutrition, food science, and health & safety
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safe working practices
- Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and well‑organised classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with departmental staff and wider school teams
- Holds QTS or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status
- Has a strong subject knowledge in Food Technology or a related field
- Is confident managing practical lessons in a busy classroom environment
- Demonstrates strong organisation and classroom management skills
- Is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to student progress
- Previous experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level is desirable
