Job summary

A local school in Staplehurst is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child's learning and development. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and possess strong communication skills. Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient, calm and flexible 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive staff team. The role will be to support a child's social-emotional, communication and cross-curricular learning development, working under the guidance and direction of teaching and therapy colleagues (specialist Speech and language therapist and other multi agency professionals where appropriate)

The ideal candidate should:

This would be a contract linked to a named child for the duration that the child is at Staplehurst School. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, term time only hours 8.30am to 3:15pm, Kent Scale A (£24,523) pro rata.
