We are seeking a skilled Roof Truss Designer to join our dynamic design office. In this role, you'll combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving to produce accurate, efficient designs that bring architectural visions to life. You'll work with cutting-edge MiTek software and collaborate with architects, engineers, and our production teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Design roof trusses, floor joists, and timber structures using specialized MiTek software
- Transform architectural and structural drawings into precise, buildable layouts
- Partner with customers, architects, and engineers to deliver innovative design solutions
- Ensure all designs meet building regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Prepare detailed quotations and material specifications
- Collaborate across teams to deliver projects on time and exceed expectations
- Previous experience in roof truss or timber engineering design
- Proficiency in design software (MiTek, Wolf, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and building regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
