ARE YOU THE PERSON WE NEED?

Are you a good all-rounder in fundraising, including a background in Trusts and Foundations? Can you inspire and motivate donors and fundraisers?

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE SPECIAL

We are a small team, looking for a second Fundraising Officer to work alongside our existing Fundraising Officer to deliver activity across all our income streams, supported by a Fundraising Board. We’re aiming to grow income from individual giving, Trusts and Foundations, community and individual fundraising, trading and further build our community of legacy pledgers. 2026 is our 50th Anniversary, a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our achievements and grow our income.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll be part of a two-person fundraising team with shared responsibility for community fundraising, events, individual giving, and day-to-day operations, plus sole responsibility for trusts and foundations and legacies. You’ll be first point of contact for supporters, develop individual giving campaigns, research and write applications to trusts and foundations, manage legacy notifications, maintain donor relationships, and deliver campaigns across communications and social media.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll have charity experience with excellent communication and writing skills, able to inspire donors and write compelling applications to trusts and foundations. You’re highly organised, manage multiple priorities effectively, and work well both independently and as part of our small team, collaborating with colleagues across all departments. You’re considerate, diplomatic, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to building lasting relationships with supporters.
