Job summary

A leading banking institution is seeking a Counterparty Credit Risk Manager to oversee compliance with risk standards and develop key risk metrics. The ideal candidate will have extensive market risk experience, a strong quantitative grasp of financial products, and exceptional communication skills. This full-time role offers the chance to engage with both the Front Office and Risk functions in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a market risk function, exposure to capital and market or credit risk practices.
  • Strong quantitative understanding of financial products, derivatives and repo.
  • Knowledge of counterparty risk metrics and capital.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with risk appetite and risk management standards.
  • Develop and deliver a suite of risk metrics to capture Counterparty Credit Risk.
  • Engage with the Front Office and Central Risk functions.
  • Review and challenge current risk methodologies.
  • Prepare risk limit proposals for senior management.

Skills

Quantitative understanding of financial products
Knowledge of counterparty risk metrics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good Excel skills
