Job summary
A leading food retailer in Canterbury is seeking a motivated Purchasing Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will manage daily purchasing operations, support the Grocery Manager in product decisions, and ensure optimal stock rotation. This role requires previous buying experience and solid computer skills, offering an annual salary range of $52,000 to $60,000. Responsibilities
- Assist the Grocery Manager with product range decisions.
- Ensure daily stock management and rotation.
- Maintain high standards of product presentation.
Skills
We are seeking a motivated and organised person to join our awesome team. The main responsibility of the position is to purchase day to day from our suppliers the products that we need to meet our customers' needs.
- To assist the Grocery Manager in ranging decisions and presentation of the range to our customers.
- To ensure the stock is worked daily with stock rotation being executed to the highest standard.
- The candidate will have buying experience and solid computer skills.
Depending on experience and aptitude the successful applicant would earn in the range of $52000 to $60000 annually.
The hours of work 40 hours per week working Friday to Tuesday.
