This is a full-time hybrid role for a Car Buyer, based in Derby with the option of some remote work. The Car Buyer will be responsible for evaluating and appraising vehicles, ensuring accurate and fair valuations for sellers, managing buyer‑seller communications, and maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the selling process. Additional tasks will include conducting market research to determine competitive pricing, maintaining accurate records, coordinating vehicle inspections, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborating with internal teams will also be a key part of the role.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of vehicle market dynamics and pricing trends
• Detail‑oriented approach with skills in assessment and appraisals
• Proficiency in basic data entry, record‑keeping, and computer systems related to car purchasing
• Customer service and relationship management experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid setting and manage time effectively
• A valid UK driving license
• Previous experience in the automotive industry or car sales is advantageous but not essential
