Job summary

A leading technology company in the City of London is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead operations for its hardware business. You will establish costing and revenue frameworks, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive accounting excellence. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of experience, expertise in US GAAP/IFRS, and a strong background in hardware manufacturing. This full-time role requires in-office work 4+ days per week.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience building and managing accounting teams.
  • Deep understanding of inventory and revenue accounting under US GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Background in hardware manufacturing or consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

  • Build a team responsible for inventory costing and revenue recognition.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly close processes including journal entries.
  • Lead development of inventory accounting and revenue accounting systems.
