Finance Manager - High Growth Fintech / SaaS Start-Up

Pearse Professionals are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most exciting fintech businesses to secure a Finance Manager to join their growing finance function.

Having attracted investment from some of the most reputable Venture Capital firms in Europe, they are in a period of sustained growth as they provide key intelligence and analytics to financial institutions.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Working closely with and reporting directly to a seasoned fintech focussed Finance Director, the Finance Manager will be a key figure in the team, leading on many aspects of finance including financial reporting and management accounting, FP&A and long-term strategic planning.
  • Manage daily finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and global payroll.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis with insightful commentary.
  • Partner with business units to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Oversee cash flow management and treasury activities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions, liaising with auditors and advisors.
  • Maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance frameworks.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support the Finance Director with financial planning and key strategic initiatives.
  • Extensive ad-hoc projects to support the growth of the business
Requirements
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
