Assistant Management Accountant

The Role at a Glance

Location: Elements Ring Road Lower Wortley Leeds, LS12 6AB
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £34,000

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Accruals, prepayments and loan account reconciliation.
  • Perform variance analysis and assist in cost tracking.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Reconcile accounts and assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
  • Help monitor KPIs and provide insights to support decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data.
  • Support compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist with audit preparation and external reporting requirements.
What We’re Looking For
  • Part‑qualified or studying towards AAT or further professional exams.
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
