Job Details

• Pay: £12.58 per hour – £14.50 per hour (overtime paid at x1.5)
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am to midday
• Duration: Temporary (3 months minimum)
• Benefits: Free parking, potential overtime, future permanent opportunity available

Job Role

The Workshop Operative will support the production team in fabricating and assembling products made from sheet metal. You will operate various metalworking tools such as saws, guillotines, metal forming equipment, and spot welders. The role also includes reading engineering drawings to verify materials, drilling to specification, and assembling components accurately based on technical diagrams.

• Ability to read basic engineering drawings
• Experience using hand tools and cutting/forming machines
