Job summary

A leading university in Australia is seeking a Wellbeing Adviser to provide specialist wellbeing support to students in the Business School and School of Humanities. This includes responding to disclosures and delivering wellbeing initiatives. The role is full-time for 12 months with a competitive salary range of $95,231 - $100,643 p.a. The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications and have experience in mental health crises and program delivery. This position is located in Crawley, with flexible working options available.

Student Wellbeing and Engagement is part of the Student Life Directorate, which plays a vital role in delivering a world‑class student experience. The Wellbeing team leads the implementation of UWA’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework, focusing on early intervention, low‑barrier services, and proactive wellbeing initiatives. We work closely with students, staff, and community partners to foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

About the opportunity

  • Provide specialist wellbeing support to students in the Business School and School of Humanities.

  • Deliver training and wellbeing initiatives to build resilience and promote a positive student experience.

About you

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration (e.g., AASW, PACFA, ACA).
  • Experienced in responding to sexual assault/harassment disclosures and mental health crises.
  • Skilled in delivering wellbeing programs and training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaison and consultation.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate & Working with Children Check will be required by the successful applicant.
