We are seeking a dedicated person interested in gaining valuable experience in an administrative capacity within a not-for-profit organisation charity. As a Minute Taker Volunteer, you will play a vital role in our organisation by attending our once-a-month meetings and accurately recording and documenting the proceedings of our Trustee meetings.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend organisational monthly meetings and accurately record minutes.
  • Capture key points, decisions, and action items discussed during meetings.
  • Prepare comprehensive and concise meeting minutes in a timely manner.
  • Distribute meeting minutes to relevant stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organisational policies regarding sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate documentation of meeting proceedings.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as a student in relevant fields of study: for example – Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Communication Studies, English or Writing.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
