Job description
Overview

Technical Sales - Pumps & Power role based in Bury St Edmunds within the Pumps division. Permanent full-time position with 42.50 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Maximise Pump & Power Services hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and win new business.
  • Deliver sales presentations to customers at a senior management level and attend depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the GAP Group network (including Regional Sales Managers and their teams) to proactively promote hire opportunities for Pump & Power equipment within existing customer bases.
  • Report to the Technical Sales Manager and contribute to revenue growth for the Bury St Edmunds depot.
Location

Mull House, Kempsom Way, Suffolk Business Park, Bury St Edmunds, IP32 7AR, United Kingdom. South East, UK. Role supports the Bury St Edmunds depot; location flexibility is available for the successful candidate.

About You (Qualifications and Skills)
  • Significant experience in a field sales role within the Pumps or Power industry is essential.
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunities from existing customers and winning new business.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities; able to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) and CRM systems.
  • Driving Licence (Essential).
