Technical Services Consultant

We are Cegedim Insurance Solutions, a global leader in international insurance software solutions. This role encompasses two main activities: Technical Consulting for both on premise and on cloud clients, and Configuration, Deployment and Technical Monitoring for our clients in cegedim.cloud. Working as part of a joint Cegedim/client team, this client‑facing role is a mixture of working from home, at client sites, and at our central Bristol office.

What’s involved?

• Provide technical consultancy to clients and inside the organization in the deployment and usage of our software
• Define the technical architecture for the integration of our software within client and 3rd party strategic partners ecosystems. This includes defining integration strategy, completing gaps analysis, interface design, security analysis and software selection
• Plan, implement and manage data migration activities from client existing systems / applications
• Define infrastructure architecture for implementation projects on‑premise and on SaaS for software, hardware, and network requirements
• Participate in implementation projects, owning technical work‑streams including liaison with clients on their development and infrastructure activities.
• Understanding and supporting smooth release delivery and installations for clients
• Deploy and configure Actisure and IDHP releases in our cloud environments, using deployment and configuration tools released by the Head of Cloud
• With the Technical Services Manager, identify the Cloud and On Premise requirements for Configuration, Deployment and Monitoring tools

What are we looking for?

• Strong client facing skills, a software development or deployment background in Microsoft technologies and experience throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience of requirements gathering
• Ability to document requirements, solutions, and infrastructure architecture design
• Proven experience in delivery of SaaS projects including technical infrastructure, environments, networks, security processes and associated compliance / regulation with associated service offerings to support SaaS model
• Implemented APIs to provide a service‑oriented architecture
• Installation and configuration of services and applications on Microsoft and or Linux server/network/platforms
• Data migration skills
• System integration design and experience in integrating with 3rd parties
• Security best practices and understanding of data protection issues
• Thorough knowledge of database systems, e.g., SQL Server including T‑SQL, Mongo DB
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
