Job summary

A leading care provider in Stranraer is looking for a Team Leader to deliver person-centred care and support a dynamic team. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, monitoring work standards, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate is sociable, flexible, and has prior care experience, along with a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join our dynamic tolik team in Stranraer.

As a team leader you will be responsible for:

  • To undertake initial assessments for new service users, to ensure they receive person‑centred care.
  • To promptly report to the care manager any relevant issues concerning the care of service users.
  • To undertake the day‑to‑day monitoring of work standards of a team of care workers, including specialist teams where appropriate.
  • To assist with the maintenance of records, in written orSoft‑commiserates? as specified within procedures or as requested by care coordinators, ensuring documentation in the homes of service users complies with Balmoral Health and Social Care policies and procedures and adheres to care standards.
  • Deputise in the absence of the care coordinator and care manager.
  • To provide cover in other areas as and when required.

We are looking for an individual who is sociable, flexible and committed, has previous experience in a care role, holds a driver’s licence, and has access to his own vehicle.
