🌟 Team Leader – Children’s Services 🌟

📍 Location: Little Addington, Kettering (NN14)
💷 Salary: £14.18 per hour (dependent on skills and experience)
⏰ Working Hours: 42 hours per week across a variety of shifts on a rota
🏡 Service: Children’s Home
👥 Service Users: Children with learning disabilities
🎓 Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
🕒 Experience Required: Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities
📄 Employment Type: Permanent

This residential home supports children with learning disabilities and aims to help them achieve independence, develop through education, and enjoy a fulfilling life.

🌟 Who we are looking for…

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join the team and support the Service Manager in leading day-to-day operations.

You will:

  • ✨ Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower young people to achieve their goals
  • ✨ Promote health, well-being, education, and recreational activities
  • ✨ Support young people to maintain family and significant relationships
  • ✨ Complete records and documents accurately
  • ✨ Assist with day-to-day household tasks including cooking, cleaning, and shopping
  • ✨ Support young people with personal care and hygiene

Do not apply for this role if any of the following apply to you:

  • ❌ You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car
  • ❌ You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent)
  • ❌ Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications
  • ❌ You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
