Are you passionate about helping every child achieve their potential? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Maltings Academy. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work in partnership with teachers to improve the learning and attainment of our students, promoting their independence and social inclusion.

What you'll do:

• Support students' learning needs, including specific SEND needs, to help them access lesson content and achieve learning objectives.
• Deliver targeted interventions in partnership with teachers.
• Promote positive behaviours and support students' wellbeing.

All new Teaching Assistants working 20 hours or more per week on a permanent contract will be automatically enrolled on a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship if they do not already hold this qualification. Lift Maltings is an 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a modern, purpose-built site opened in 2011.
