Job summary

A global technology business is looking for a Tax Reporting Contractor in London (hybrid). This 6-month contract involves supporting UK and international tax reporting obligations, enhancing processes, and working closely with senior leadership. Ideal candidates will have experience in tax reporting, a strong understanding of UK corporate tax, and the ability to manage large data sets. Qualifications

Contract: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP (immediately available / short notice needed)

A global, fast-growing technology business is engaging a Tax Reporting Contractor to support its expanding UK and international tax reporting obligations. This role sits within the tax function and will work directly with senior leadership to help strengthen controls, improve reporting processes and support ongoing compliance activity.

The position has been created to provide additional capacity during a period of increasing reporting complexity and regulatory scrutiny, as the business continues to scale.

What you'll be doing

Support the preparation, review and submission of tax reporting and compliance for the UK and selected international entities.

Assist with direct and indirect tax reporting, including provisions, returns and reconciliations.

Work alongside the Director of Tax Reporting to manage deadlines, data flows and reporting cycles.

Coordinate with external advisors to ensure filings are accurate and issues are resolved efficiently.

Help document, streamline and improve tax reporting processes and controls.

Support audits, reviews and internal stakeholders with data, explanations and technical input.

What they're looking for

Experience in tax reporting, compliance or tax provision work, either in-house or in a professional services environment.

Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax and/or VAT (broader international exposure is a plus).

Ability to work with large data sets and financial systems to produce reliable tax information.

Comfortable working in a hands-on, delivery-focused contract role.

Organised, detail-oriented and able to operate in a fast-moving, global business.
