We’re looking for a Talent Champion to provide a world-class hiring experience that matches the quality of our culture. You’ll work with leaders and hiring teams to shape smarter, faster, and more inclusive hiring, with a mix of strategic insight, data fluency and hands‑on delivery.
You’ll work across the whole hiring lifecycle: from helping craft great job descriptions and candidate journeys, to spotting bottlenecks and coaching better decision‑making. You won’t just fill roles, you’ll improve the system.
Your challenge is to:

Your Impact:
- Shape smarter systems: You’ll help design and embed core hiring processes, from interview design to data dashboards, and ensure they scale as we grow.
- Coach and support leaders: Help hiring teams build clarity and confidence, whether that’s writing better job descriptions, improving interview quality, or understanding market dynamics.
- Make data work: Treat metrics as a compass, not a scoreboard. You’ll use hiring data to diagnose issues, spot themes, and guide better decisions.
- Drive change thoughtfully: If something’s broken, you’ll fix it, not just patch it. You’ll help to lead change that sticks by bringing people with you.
- Raise the bar, consistently: You’ll protect our hiring standards and help us stay true to what makes PortSwigger special, even as we scale.
Requirements
- Experience that fits: You’ve worked in‑house, embedded or in an RPO setup within a fast‑moving tech environment (3–5 years), and you’ve had exposure to the kind of challenges that come with growing organisations, you’re comfortable spotting where processes can break and contributing to fixing them.
- Strategic rigour: You don’t just react, you analyse, reflect, and act with purpose. You use data to understand the story beneath the surface and suggest meaningful action.
- Systems thinking: You’ve helped to build or refine hiring processes, and understand how to embed changes that stick across different teams and tools.
- Strong collaborator: You work consultatively, manage tensions with empathy, and can nudge leaders towards better decisions without needing a mandate.
- Comfort with AI tools: You’ve used AI in hiring, not to replace judgement, but to speed up drafting, organise insights, or streamline workflow.
- Owner mindset: You spot problems, dig in, and improve things. You care about impact, not just activity. And you keep the long game in mind.
