Qualifications

Role: Surgery Specialist (soft tissue & orthopaedics)

Location: London Vet Specialists, London

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days

The hospital boasts an incredible location on the banks of the river Thames, nestled within the bustling and thriving Hammersmith & Fulham neighbourhood. We now have a complete compliment of specialist‑led services, including anaesthesia & analgesia, cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic and soft‑tissue surgery.

London Vet Specialists (LVS) are currently recruiting a board‑certified or board eligible veterinarian in Surgery to join our multi‑disciplinary team, including our Head of Surgery Dr Kiki Tarvin.

Our investment includes a Philips BlueSeal 1.5T MRI (helium‑free system to support sustainability), Siemens 64‑slice CT, Samsung RS‑85 ultrasound, digital radiography, C‑arm fluoroscopy, and Karl Storz endoscopy and bronchoscopy systems – giving you the tools to deliver world‑class care. Surgery specific, we have extensive Arthrex orthopaedic instrumentation for internal fixation, access to IMEX ESF equipment and Synthes locking systems, Unium Drill, a new Arthrex arthroscopy tower that works with our Storz thoracoscopic/laparoscopic equipment, SILS ports for laparoscopy, equipment for PCCLs, LigaSure, linear staplers, TA staplers, and sugiclips.
