Job description

For this role, we would like candidates to live within commuting distance of Alford, Inverurie, Kemnay, Kintore, Insch, and its surrounding areas.

Potters Independent Living Ltd is a support service based in Alford, Aberdeenshire. We are professional, agile, and social in everything we do. We aim to keep members of society as independent as possible in their own homes. Also, we provide support for over‑60‑year‑old residents of Aberdeenshire.

Support workers work directly with people with support needs, providing personal care, companionship, errands, meal preparation, assisting with medications, and developmental support, as needed. This can be in the client’s house or in the community. A shift pattern is worked and will involve travelling between clients.

In cases of live‑in care, you would be expected to provide support at home for extended periods of time. We would be pleased to receive applications from those who may be seeking full‑time or part‑time work, and indeed, flexible working. Applications are welcomed from applicants who are new to support work, as full training is provided.
