About the role

Imagine a young person who has just moved into West Farm after a period of instability. They are unsure and guarded, but by cooking a simple meal together you begin to build trust. Over time, you help them learn to budget, manage a tenancy, apply to college, and rebuild confidence. As an Independent Living Skills Coach, you walk alongside them, guiding each step and helping them regain independence.

What you’ll be doing

  • Act as a coach and key worker, co‑creating "My Journey" plans with young people.
  • Build supportive relationships rooted in trust and respect.
  • Deliver life‑skills sessions, activities and accredited programmes.
  • Support young people before, during, and after they move on to independence.
