We're looking for someone to come and get involved in wood working, the world of Harry Potter and not afraid to try horse riding. Like the gym? So does this gentleman, being active is really important to him. So you can enjoy day trips out and get to all these great activities we do require you to hold a Full UK Driving Licence, so if you live in the Penzance area and are passionate about supporting someone to live life to the fullest we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for someone enthusiastic to support an individual living with their family in Penzance. This person is more than their Prader Willi Syndrome and Autism - they're a unique individual with a range of interests and hobbies that bring them joy and you can be part of that amazing journey!
Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:
What will your shift involve?
In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well‑being. Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.
