We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of “Your Life, Your Choice” and our strategy “Best Lives Possible”.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or been shortlisted for over 100 national and regional awards.

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support, and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop should you decide you want to progress your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role
  • 3 ladies and 2 gentlemen live in this service
  • Our ages vary from 22 to 68, offering a variety of life experience, personalities, routines and habits

  • We love to have a bit of banter and a good laugh
  • Staff are all trained and coached in mandatory care skills such as first aid, fire safety and moving and positioning to name a few
  • LITTLEBURN is a very active service but can also be quiet; we all enjoy going out and relaxing watching films

We all enjoy a good cup of tea or coffee.

Shift patterns
  • 3 core staff during the day, 1 nightshift and 1 sleep‑in
  • Day shifts vary – 8am–9pm, 8am–8pm, 8am–10pm with 8am sleep‑in
