As an administrative/validation clerk you will support a high quality standard analysis service to Health Board managers and clinicians, ensuring they have the information that they require to deliver the highest quality and most appropriate services to our patients.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining records, entering accurate data into the WPAS computerised system whilst demonstrating the ability to handle patient information, ie: responsible for the administration and validation of clinical pathways. This will be carried out by liaising with clinicians and managers regarding investigations and results in a sensitive and confidential manner.
To support the delivery of validation and specific regular and ad-hoc reports to clinical and managerial staff. This analysis will include information to support planning, operational and performance management, as well as support to specific service improvement developments within the Health Board.
The postholder will maintain effective relationships with stakeholders using these to ensure the role supports the validation process within the waiting list function. You will be expected to work closely with the Service Management teams.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
