Overview

Mission
  • Run Sales and Operations Planning process for the product lines in the scope of the job (all products made in GB).
  • Execute main decisions of this S&OP process in the supply part, with close contact with Third parties in case of tolling (Cod Beck Blending – CBB - today based in UK).
  • Manage a team of 3 people based in Chester, in the field of finished goods distribution and of purchasing/procurement of raw materials used by CBB.
  • Report at HQ/SBU level on the performance of the Supply Chain, for managed product categories Supply Chain, including manufacturing locations in China and USA, and inventory WW (Raw materials and finished goods).
  • Lead projects sponsored by Corporate Supply Chain in the scope of the managed product categories supply chain.
  • Manage the local warehouse based in UK for domestic sales.
Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  1. Lead monthly S&OP process in its product lines:
    • Updating dashboard and all information supporting decision making (inventory levels, customer service rate, production/procurement reliability, sales forecast accuracy, customer complaints).
    • Proposing solutions to come back to targets.
    • Managing the meetings (scheduling, animation, notes).
  2. Apply all S&OP decisions regarding supply operations In interface with external suppliers (tolling): purchasing forecasts, ordering, raw material procurement.
  3. Manage tolling process in the appropriate ERP (EXACT & SAP), in order to provide inventory on time to confirm and deliver customer orders on time and in full.
  4. Operate the local warehouse used for domestic sales (replenishment decision based on the demand).
  5. Play as a control tower to manage all operational issues coming from
    • Suppliers (raw material, finished goods).
    • Customer service (orders management, delivery complaints management).
  6. Monitor indicators of its Products Categories WW and of its local warehouses: inventories, OTIF, distribution costs to reach the targets and propose improvements. A special effort is focused on Inventories (raw materials, semi-finished and finished products in the UK for PALATABILITY and other categories that are stored in 3 different locations).
  7. Make problems solving a day-to-day obligation, launching improvement projects accordingly.
  8. Maintain all documents and training resources related to its activities; transfer job knowledge to ensure the recovery of its activities properly.
  9. Provide good conditions of work and development for the team.
  10. Delivering requirements coming from projects.
  11. Share best practices in his community at Specialties SBU level (5 supply planning managers in total).
Qualifications
  • Comparable experience even in other fields than Animal Nutrition, for a minimum of 5 years.
  • IT skills in MS Office suite (master in Excel) and in SAP. SAP knowledge will clearly be a plus.
  • Communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Team spirit.
