A leading children's charity in the UK is seeking a Studio Assistant to support the operations of their creative studio. This role involves assisting with project coordination, managing creative briefs, and supporting content production. Ideal for someone at the start of their creative career, the Studio Assistant will collaborate with the marketing team and external partners. The position offers a starting salary of £27,000+, and applicants should be authorized to work in the UK. Applications close on January 18, 2026.
Founded 24 years ago, Theirworld has grown to become a leading global children’s charity committed to the best start in life for children and young people by ending the education crisis and unleashing the potential of the next generation.
If you care about issues like climate change, gender equality, inclusion, helping refugees and ensuring the voices of young people are represented at all levels of decision-making, then education is the key to unlocking big change in these areas. If you want to make change happen, join us!
We believe in unlocking big change from a supportive and inclusive environment. This is why we now have an innovative 4-day-working-week which sees all employees working Monday to Thursday with the office closed on most Fridays.
This is in addition to hybrid working, with staff only expected to be in the office for three days over a two-week period.
Theirworld is seeking a Studio Assistant to support the smooth running of our in-house Creative Studio.
Our Creative Studio produces high-quality visual content that supports the charity’s campaigning, advocacy, fundraising and project work — including video, infographics, digital and social media assets, brand materials, marketing collateral and research reports.
The Studio Assistant will provide day-to-day support on studio operations and assist with projects, asset management and creative production. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone at the beginning of their creative career — but with scope for growth into project coordination and production for the right candidate.
Reporting to our Director of Communications, you will work closely with our Studio Manager and colleagues across the ten-strong Marketing and Communications team, as well as internal teams, external designers, editors and other creative suppliers.
The Studio Assistant will support activities, including but not limited to:
Studio Support and Coordination
Content and Production Support
Freelancer and Supplier Support
Studio Operations
Starting at £27,000+ based on qualifications and experience.
Please submit your CV and a cover letter to jobs@theirworld.org including the name of the role of interest in the subject line of your email.
Only open to applicants with the right to work in the UK.
Applications close 18th January 2026.
