The environment is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and trust based. We set ambitious goals, work extremely hard, stress the importance of teamwork, and adhere to the highest level of excellence in everything we do. We are only as good as our team. Thus, we are building the firm around exceptional talent.

Fasanara Capital is seeking a Structured Finance Origination Associate to join our London Origination team.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you'll manage client relationships, perform analytical assessments, and coordinate internal deal execution across investment, legal, operations, and compliance teams.

Unlike traditional origination roles, at Fasanara you'll combine relationship management with investment analysis - working on live transactions, conducting due diligence, structuring term sheets, and ensuring smooth onboarding of new originators globally.

Responsibilities
  • Manage global relationships with originators and lenders.
  • Draft key transaction documents (LOIs, MOUs, Term Sheets).
  • Support negotiation of commercial terms (rates, fees, triggers, concentration limits).
  • Conduct market research on European lending and regulatory trends.
  • Coordinate across credit, legal, operations, and compliance teams during deal onboarding.
  • Perform four-eye checks and provide guidance to junior analysts.
  • Draft investment memos and opportunity assessments for internal committees.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in financial services (preferably in an investment bank, asset manager, or credit fund).
  • Experience with structured or securitized products.
  • Strong understanding of credit products and lending structures.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field.
  • English fluency required (German/Dutch a plus).
  • CFA Level II or higher preferred.
Within six months, you will have:
  • Supported two deals through the full onboarding process.
  • Independently drafted at least one LOI.
  • Reviewed and modified both asset and liability models effectively.
  • Built strong cross-functional relationships across the firm.
