Job summary

A leading charity organization in London seeks a Specialist Support Worker to support clients who are deaf with complex needs. Responsibilities include offering assistance using or learning British Sign Language and providing compassionate care to individuals with mental health conditions. Qualifications

  • Experience of working with clients who are deaf and have complex needs.
  • Must be willing to learn British Sign Language.
  • Prior experience in supported living or residential care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to clients with complex needs and mental health conditions.
  • Facilitate communication using BSL or assist in learning it.
  • Work within a team to deliver excellent care and support.

Salary: £13.85 per hour
Contract: Two year fixed term contract
Hours: Full time catches 40 hours, various shift patterns, 2 years fixed term contract

  • Experience of working in supported living services/or residential care services
