Are you a passionate Social Worker looking to make a real difference in people’s lives while working in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK? We’re seeking three enthusiastic and committed practitioners to join our Safeguarding Adults Team in Cumberland.
Based primarily across North and West Cumbria, with flexibility to support other areas, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role protecting adults at risk, leading safeguarding enquiries, chairing case conferences, and working closely with partners such as health services, the police, and the voluntary sector.
You’ll manage a varied caseload, provide expert safeguarding advice, and use a strengths-based approach to empower individuals, reduce risks, and protect vulnerable adults from harm, abuse, and neglect.
We’re looking for qualified Social Workers who share our values: ambitious, collaborative, compassionate, empowering, and innovative. Experience of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding principles is desirable, but above all, we’re seeking people who care deeply about protecting others and working in partnership to create positive outcomes.
