The Role

We’re looking for a Site Bakery Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll provide electrical and maintenance support for our bakery operations, keeping equipment running smoothly and safely while helping us deliver top-quality products to our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out planned maintenance and continuous improvements on bakery equipment
• Tackle reactive maintenance with strong fault-finding skills
• Ensure machinery runs efficiently, minimising downtime
• Comply with all health & safety legislation
• Install and commission new machinery
• Keep parts/spares stocked and source replacements
• Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate across teams

What We’re Looking For

Strong electrical knowledge and hands-on maintenance experience

Excellent fault-finding skills in an industrial setting (FMCG ideal)

Level 3 mechanical/electrical engineering qualification (or equivalent)

Apprentice trained, able to read electrical drawings

Team player with strong communication skills

Shift Pattern

• 3 on / 3 off rotating days & nights:
• Days: 7 AM – 7 PM
• Nights: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Average 40.25 hrs/week + flexibility for on-call cover when needed
